Whether you’re studying for certifications, trying to understand complex technical concepts, or building your skill set, knowing how to effectively communicate with AI tools can dramatically accelerate your learning journey. This workshop will teach you how to craft prompts that break down difficult topics, generate study materials, and fill knowledge gaps as you progress in your cybersecurity education.
Throughout this three-hour session, you’ll gain practical experience with industry tools including fabric by Daniel Miessler, Claude, and Msty. You’ll move from basic conversational prompts to creating a personalized library of reusable prompts tailored to your learning needs.
We’ll also address the cybersecurity perspective on these tools, discussing prompt injection, adversarial attacks on LLMs, and why understanding these vulnerabilities matters in your future career.
What You’ll Learn:
- How AI and Large Language Models work and where they fit in the tech landscape
- Fundamentals of effective prompt engineering
- Hands-on experience with fabric, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and more
- Techniques for using AI to explain complex concepts, create study materials, and accelerate learning
- Introduction to prompt injection and LLM security considerations
- How to build and maintain your own prompt library for ongoing studies
What You’ll Build: By the end of this workshop, you’ll have created a personalized prompt library containing 5-6 tested, reusable prompts designed to support your cybersecurity learning journey.
