Every so often, I “ego surf” the web, doing searches on various platforms to see what others can learn about me online. In part, I do this out of curiosity. In part, it’s also a security practice, especially in these days when potential employers look at social profiles and posts to see if a person is a “good fit” for an organization, and when extremists use online information for stalking and other nefarious activities.
The Good News here is that when I looked up my presence on YouTube, I discovered something cool.
